Personality :
Stubborn but strong-willed , Keith is ready to help his teammates in the heat of battle. Although Keith may be a bit temper-mental , he cares a lot about his teammates.

Backstory :

At a young age , Keith lost both his parents. He did not remember his mom and his Dad died to an accident involving fire. Keith went to school with other kids but often his mind was somewhere else. One day , Shiro visits their school to recruit new cadets for the Galaxy Garrison. In order to test each students flying skills, he brought along a space-craft simulator.

All the kids tried the simulation but nobody was able to pass Level 3. It was finally Keith's turn and he was doing pretty well. While Keith played, the class teacher showed Shiro a list of students she thought would make the best candidates for the Garrison. Shiro asked if Keith was on the list but the teacher said that Keith had a discipline issue.

Nevertheless, Shiro believed in Keith and took him to the Garrison under his wing. Shiro was one of the few people who fully understood Keith . That is why their bond is so strong. Keith had a hard-time fitting in with the other cadets. He got into a-lot of trouble but Shiro never gave up on him. They took private lessons and Keith improved his flying. When Shiro left the Garrison for the Kerberos Mission, Keith had no-one to defend him anymore and he got kicked out of the garrison. Keith went to a shack that he remembered from his past. It was where he felt the connection to his parents strongest.
